On October 10, 2017, Musement announced its acquisition of Triposo. InterWest was a seed investor in Triposo, which builds free, interactive travel guides for mobile devices personalized to the needs of each user by mashing together freely available web-based content. Triposo guides run on iPhone, iPad and Android devices, and work online or offline. Each destination includes help on getting there, getting around, history, attractions, restaurants, nightlife and recreation, and lets users store the highlights of their trips. Musement plans to complete Triposo's technology integration in the next few months, which will allow Musement to offer a more intuitive and personalized experience to its users in real time. The integration means Musement will offer hyper-personalized travel content and booking options to its users across multiple verticals – from guided tours and museums, to food & wine and spa & wellness options – and also across multiple touchpoints; the B2C Musement and Triposo websites and apps, and the joint B2B APIs, which travel partners can integrate into their websites.
